Review of collectors meeting in Utrecht NL
While there were some problems with the trains and bus (Unions were on strike) there were a lot of visitors, however the first signs of the recession became clear. There were a lot of questions about companies and whether there are shares available from that company. (I even was asked for shares of a company that makes speed-skates only !!! Unfortunately I couldn't help the man.).
Only few certificates were in demand, such as Disney, Euro Disney and other modern titles such as MC Donalds, Microsoft and Motorola.
But we had a nice day anyway, for the most of us it is always a struggle not to buy more than we sold, but most "scripophilists" actually made some money (but if you also calculate the costs for travelling, beverages and food than we hardly broke even, but on the other hand: do you have a hobby that doesn't cost you any money?
